i agree to a point.  i agree that it is a dominant narrative that needs to be disrupted.

lawyers come from many different backgrounds.  indeed, some lawyers have been engineers and scientists.  they take that training with them wherever their career leads.  it is the system that is flawed, not necessarily the people inside it. 

the profession of law is incredibly multifaceted.  at this stage, it might be appropriate to reflect on how much of life is actually regulated by law and how narrow life is inside of a laboratory.
